Stopflow is a water circuit-breaker, it is based on the same principle as circuit breakers for electricity. Installed after the distributor's water meter, it constantly monitors all water flow and cuts off the water supply as soon as a leak is detected. To differentiate between leaks and normal water consumption, it looks for stable flows that last too long, and to detect burst pipes, it looks for overflows and cuts off the water instantly. Stopflow has 2 other benefits: firstly, it can be installed in pits just after the water meter, thus protecting pipes buried in the garden. If a leak appears on these pipes, it can be very difficult and time-consuming to discover and therefore involve a lot of extra costs on the water bill, Stopflow will discover them very easily. Secondly, Stopflow is intelligent; after installation, it will monitor the property's consumption for 3 weeks and configure itself automatically, enabling the most accurate and efficient leak detection.
