Identification

Chemitek's Solar Wash Protect (SWP) is an eco-friendly and biodegradable cleaning product with washing and protection properties, developed and certified for solar panels. SWP presents innovative and efficient characteristics to clean and protect solar PV panels, significantly improving their power generation performance and reducing their maintenance needs and costs. Cleaning panels with SWP instead of just with water delivers significant water savings, decreasing the volume of water waste by 20% per panel. After washing, the protective anti-adherent characteristic will reduce the adhesion of soiling to the panel keeping it cleaner for a longer period of time. Gains in efficiency of up to 4% can be achieved due to the anti-adherent characteristics left on the panel post-wash. This solution delivers enhanced energy gains and reduced water use, all whilst saving money for the user.
