Smartec

An energy-efficient platform for city services management

Identification

In many cities, city services are managed independently. Each of the utilities or services has a different power line and they are connected to each other in the same electrical distribution board where each line is managed. So in conventional installations each service has an individual power line. The Smartec solution integrates under one platform as many Smart City services as possible, crossing the data to make those services more efficient and help the city to become more sustainable. With this solution, it's possible to create more added value to the services, for instance, public lighting, maximizing the light when is needed, and to minimize the power consumption. Also, connecting existing legacy systems to the platform would allow a better performance for the control with the same hardware, remote monitoring and integration into the mesh network created by the Smartec system.
