Identification

Sinay proposes a Port Digital Hub, a unique tool for holistic data-driven port automation and environment management. Two specific services are targeted: predictions of ship time arrival (PTA), and of water pollution parameters. The combination of such two services is the best approach to deliver a solution addressing compelling challenges for the Port and Shipping industries (PTA). PTA is a key parameter on which a vast range of port management processes depends, including dock occupation planning or vessel traffic management. Further, the prediction of water quality parameters has a double use. First, assessing the environmental quality and anticipating pollution events; second, the calculations of water quality parameters share many input data with the calculation of PTAs. The rationale is therefore to acquire data from space and sea-borne technologies, to apply advanced AI algorithms, and to industrialize web-based services aiming at digitalizing Port logistics and environmental management processes.
