Recycle plastic waste that has no recycling solutions, into a wood-like material

Identification
Recnorec aims at improving plastic recycling ratios by proposing a solution for waste plastic blends that were eliminated (incineration/ landfilling), in order to transform them into a material used for outside facilities instead of wood, metals, plastic or concrete. Recnorec process can absorb mixed plastic waste streams, which is logistically very interesting for plastic waste generators. Recnorec material will replace other non renewable resources like wood, and is recyclable. Solution works thanks to an innovative recycling process line that combines classic plastic shredding/densifying and extrusion equipments, as well as an original unique shaping machine. Process can accept plastic waste blends without sorting or washing. Material performance relies on a relative steadiness of polymers composition in the global mix. We can absorb thermoplastics that never had any recycling solution.
