The pilot project Quigo Green is the first DIY measuring tool to address key aspects of sustainability in its product development and along its entire value chain. Quigo Green is an easy-to-use levelling tool suitable for any aligning tasks such as hanging up shelves or pictures, installing curtain rails or tiling. For the development of the Quigo Green, Bosch Power Tools has started a journey to reevaluate step by step the entire process of how we build, sell and recycle measuring tools. While the housing of Quigo Green is made of 85% recycled plastic, the accessory is made of 95% recycled plastic. The power supply concept has been optimised to improve battery life and increase energy efficiency. Furthermore, a plastic-free packaging and the use of at least 70% recycled material for packaging and 100% recycled paper for the manual contribute to a more sustainable product. All of this in line with the clear mission to live sustainably.
