An embedded system of sensors and actuators for hives to become bio-vigilant and connected
NOEHMI is a device destined to control conditions in hives in order to allow beekeepers to monitor pollinators' health. It may be utilized not only by farmers but also by companies, research centers, and local authorities. The device is composed of sensors, actuators, and a scale. Each device is connected to a dedicated application. Thanks to the implementation of artificial intelligence and Internet of Things tools into our system, data analysis, personalized recommendations, and remote control of conditions in the hives will be possible. The popularisation of NOEHMI will lead to a better understanding of how biodiversity is affected by environmental conditions, a decrease in the mortality rate of bees, and increased yield for farmers.
