Qaptis mobile carbon capturing system is designed to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions directly at the source, such as heavy-duty vehicles (HDV) exhaust, before the emissions are released into the atmosphere. The capture kit is transportable and can be deployed to various Heavy-duty trucks as needed. How it Works: Capture Technology: Mobile carbon capturing systems typically employed with capture technologies. Which involves using absorbents that can selectively capture CO2 from exhaust gases. Deployment: The mobile system comes with the advantage of plug-and-play, where it can be set up relatively quickly. This flexibility allows for the system to be used in different HDVs. Integration with Emission Sources: The capturing system is integrated with the exhaust system, which can intercept CO2 from the exhaust. Separation & Storage: After capturing CO2, it is stored onboard in storage tanks which can be removed once it full at designated offloading centres.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Lower cost as initial investment (lower cost compare to EV and Hydrogen Truck)
  • Mobile carbon capture systems like Qaptis can capture up to 90% of CO2 emissions directly from the vehicle's exhaust, which is significantly higher compared to mainstream alternatives such as traditional exhaust after-treatment systems

The Financial Benefits

  • Less than 3 years payback time for swiss transporters
  • Offering significant economic benefits through enhanced resource efficiency, regulatory compliance, and potential revenue streams from carbon utilization or storage
