Eurométropole de Strasbourg
Strasbourg
The Kibitzenau swimming pool belongs to the Strasbourg Eurometropole. Sunny Shark was implemented on this site in 2021 as part of an experiment. The initial objective was to demonstrate the effectiveness of our system, with a view to extending Smart Pooling to other pools in the Eurometropole. At the end of the trial period, we were able to achieve the following results: - heat savings of 24% during the day and up to 30% at night - greenhouse gas emission savings ranging from 27% during the day to 33% at night. At the end of the experiment, Sunny Shark equipped 2 other swimming pools in the Eurometropole, enabling the municipality to win the Interconnectés 2023 Gold label.
At the end of the trial period, we achieved notable results, including a 24% reduction in heat consumption during the day and up to 30% at night. In terms of greenhouse gas emissions, savings ranged from 27% during the day to 33% at night. These improvements translated into significant financial benefits, with a potential annual savings of over €50,000.
With the SMART POOLING®, SUNNY SHARK offers to reduce the energy consumption of public swimming pools and aquatic centers by 15 to 30%, thanks to an intelligent, connected control unit that can be adapted to any site. It modifies key system parameters in real-time to meet all health and comfort requirements at the lowest possible energy cost. Its investment cost is low and its payback time is quick, unlike the massive, multi-million euro renovation work that has until now been the benchmark solution for improving the situation.
