Based on ScaleBuster water conditioner, we have supplied a water treatment system branded EnviroTower for cooling towers which are the "heart" of the HVAC of this large hospital in Texas. This was the third system ordered by this customer (following one EnviroTower system which was installed several years before and showed very good results saving energy, water, chemicals and labour and another system ordered just several months before). Following first year of operation we have received a message from the customer telling us that the performance of our newer system was very good, no scale nor corrosion was found in their chillers and savings of water, energy, chemicals and labour were as expected.
OpEx savings were over 12% with energy, water, chemicals and labour reduction vs. traditional chemical water treatment. As to drastic reduction in chemicals usage, the blown down water from the cooling circuits could be re-used and had way less COD/BOD load on the sewage system.
The solution gives the best whole-house water filtration solution vs. other available options on the market. Filtration to 40 micron (second stage) by a welded stainless steel screen, a mechanical scraper and back wash by vortex (very effective even with low pressure incoming water systems). With no consumables (no cartridge replacement), no potential leaks as to faulty O-ring (as with cartridge based filters) and no operational cost (no electric power, no chemicals, no cartridges). On top of the filter, the ISBF kit contains a ScaleBuster physical water conditioner which prevents scale and corrosion (and even slowly removes old scale formation in your water system)
