The strategic partnerships are very important for us. TARIMÖZ has been producing agricultural machinery for many years and good at mechanical technologies. As MOVE ON, we are good at electronics and software technologies. We had a strategic cooperation for developing cloud connected smart weeder together. We developed the first phase of the project with TARIMOZ and MOVE ON's own resources. For the 2nd Phase of the project, we applied to TUBITAK for the Industrial Order R&D call. The project was supported with a 50% Grant.
Normally, a lot of labor and energy is required to combat weeds. Chemicals are also used. With the project that is a result of this collaboration; - Chemical use decreased by 40% - Required labor and energy needs decreased by 15% - Plant development improved by 5%, thus contributing 5% directly to yield.
MOVE ON AgTech Cloud Platform integrates with existing agricultural devices such as tractors, combines, agricultural equipments (sprayers, fertilisers, weeders...etc), drones, satellites and transforms them digitally. It collects data from fields for data-driven agriculture. Field and plant images, tractor and agricultural equipment working hours, location, and fuel level. MOVE ON AgTech Cloud Platform includes solutions that work with agricultural artificial intelligence software such as plant count, yield estimation, fertilization recipe and map creation for minimum fertilizer use, optimal tractor route calculation for minimum soil compaction, and automatic weeding for mechanical control instead of chemical control.
