Description

We installed the TEYGO to provide energy to the Trois-Palétuviers school. Located in an isolated area accessible only by canoe. This new power plant, built by Solamaz, allows the school's four classes as well as the four teachers' homes to be completely energy autonomous. We could not use the rooftop because of its structure and we needed a tecnical space dedicated to the solar plant with a locked access to insure the security for everyone. Our structures make it possible to optimize ground space and ensure the proper functioning of the system in flood conditions (quite frequent in tropical areas) thanks to their elevation.

Impact & Result

Since we start its operation at the end of June, we produced a bit more than 3MWh of electricity. Compared to a classical generator set, we saved around 3120 kg of CO2. Over the same period, we should have consumed 1,200 liters of gasoline, spending about 2,400€. Not counting the regular maintenance of the generators. In addition, the energy consumption related to the plant should increase in the coming months, improving the ROI.
