The innovative patented technology of Heau stores the heat from your previous shower in a high-tech insulated compartment. The heat is released via a hydraulic system at the beginning of your next shower. This way, you experience water at your ideal temperature right from the start of each shower. The Green Village is testing a prototype of the new shower tap, starting with gaining insights into users' shower patterns through various sensors. Technically, we are assessing the durability of the components and eliminating potential issues. This process allows the technology to mature before moving on to the next phase of miniaturization and implementation.
With the Heau shower tap providing instant hot water, we eliminate the annual waste of water, energy, and carbon emissions. Heau saves each year, per person 16,000 liters and 119 kWh. To reduction in water and energy results in 40 kg of carbon emmisions. The economical saving depend on your home installation, but on average we see an ROI of 4 years in a typical family of 4.
We've all been there: we turn on the shower, only to be greeted by a flow of cold water. On average people wait a full minute before stepping into the shower. It's more than an inconvenience. Have you ever realized that the average person wastes 4000 liters and 110kWh of energy annually this way? Heau creates next-generation taps with instant hot water. Our patented technology stores heat from your previous usage inside the tap. The next time you turn on the tap the stored energy releases, providing your desired temperature from the first moment. This is possible with a unique combination of thermal storage and self-regulating hydraulical valves and award-winning designs.
