A range of passive shower wastewater heat recovery systems that preheat shower water in buildings lowering energy consumption
The Zypho Shower Wastewater Heat Recovery system efficiently captures heat from shower wastewater, with temperatures around 40ºC, and transfers it to the incoming cold mains supply, typically at 10ºC. This process preheats the water to approximately 33ºC, which can then be supplied to either the shower mixer, the water heater, or ideally both, resulting in a substantial decrease in energy consumption.
