This project focuses on the enhancement of energy efficiency in ten private residential blocks of flats located in the Mendillorri neighborhood of Pamplona, Spain. The intervention involves a comprehensive renovation of the building envelopes through the installation of ventilated façades, significantly improving both thermal insulation and acoustic performance.
Recovery of 21,120 kg of waste to manufacture 8,000 m2 of 110 mm thick insulation. With the use of this solution, the extraction of more than 21 tonnes of resources has been avoided. In addition, by improving the envelope, the energy bill of the 10 blocks has been reduced, as well as improving the comfort of the users.
Insulating one's home allows for reducing energy costs and consumption in addition to reducing polluting emissions and helping to conserve our planet. Additionally, the Solution allows greater comfort. GEOPANNEL thermo-acoustic insulation panels are very easy to install and are made from 80% recycled textile fibers. These products are 100% recyclable and have a low carbon footprint. They also have a long service life and pass the most stringent tests for thermal and acoustic insulation, tensile strength, abrasion, mold formation, toxic emissions, and reaction to fire. Installing GEOPANNEL panels allows for achieving maximum savings with environmentally friendly materials.
