Hype fights against air pollution in urban areas by offering a zero-emission solution for passenger transportation, based on hydrogen. Hype develops and operates the first hydrogen mobility platform integrating simultaneously production, distribution and uses – with the taxi as first market. Hype operates the world's largest fleet of hydrogen- powered taxis and deploys solutions that will enable all taxis and all other mobility players to switch to zero-emission through hydrogen.
The Environmental Benefits
- •Since 2015, more than 10 million zero-tailpipe-emission kilometers have been traveled by the Hype fleet, which has avoided the emission of more than 5 tons of NOx
- •A hydrogen taxi uses 1.2 kg of hydrogen for 100km
- •0 emission at tailpipe: 0 NOx, 0 particulate matter, 0 SO2, 0 CO2
- •More than 65% reduction of CO2 emissions (well-to-wheel)
