Geocycle is addressing the plastic waste challenge through PlaNet Solutions which offers a fast track route to achieve plastic neutrality while supporting the creation of closed loop waste management solutions. It provides an avenue for plastic waste generators to invest in innovative circular solutions to tackle plastic pollution in high impact areas. Geocycle promotes novel collection and segregation solutions, such as Geocycle Bubble Barriers to capture the plastics from rivers; PlaNet TogetherApp to manage urban post consumer plastic; or mobile sorting stations to divert plastics from landfills. PlaNet offers the entire range of plastic waste management solutions ranging from strategic planning to collection, transportation, segregation and final treatment.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Capacity to divert 30k ton/yr of sorted Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) from landfill
  • 15,000 kt/yr of post-consumer plastic waste diverted from landfill
  • 24,233 t CO2 emissions reduction related to the Sorted MSW diverted from landfill and co-processed in cement kiln
