Genesink disruptive consumer electronics

Conductive and semiconductive nanoinks to make flexible electronics by additive manufacturing

Identification

The Solution uses additive manufacturing for electronic circuits production using special nanoinks and avoiding waste and unnecessary material losses compared to conventional techniques. Genesink has developed 3 ranges of high-performance nanoinks: SMARTINK (silver-based nanoinks for conductive interconnects, busbars, and antennas functionalities), TRANDUCTIVE – silver nanowires-based nanoinks to replace ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) for flexible OPV or flexible displays, HELIOSINK – metal oxides-based nanoinks (zinc oxide (ZnO), aluminum doped zinc oxide (AZO), and tungsten oxide (WO3)) to be used as a charge transport layer in photovoltaics cells/OLED lightings. The company is autonomous for nanoinks characterization, development and testing on all types of printing processes. The solution's nanoinks are composed of the active material (metallic/semi-metallic nanoparticles and/or nanowires) and the vehicle (solvent, binder, additives). The selection of the active material is determined by the required physical properties of the printed device (conductivity, optical transparency, stability of the printed pattern to bending and twisting, crucial for nowadays consumer electronics needs).
