A wind turbine able to produce electricity anywhere without any noise or visual pollution
ALAE is a sail-powered wind turbine that is light enough (-100kg) to be installed on a roof in an urban environment, and whose performance delivers enough energy to supply 80% of the annual consumption of a 90m² household with 4 occupants in the Basque Country (excluding heating). This corresponds to an annual production of 3500 kW. It can be installed on a gable or guyed like a rake antenna. ALAE can also be installed on streetlights, taking advantage of the existing infrastructure: the concrete slab and the network cabling. The thickness of ALAE mast is of the same standard as the top of the street lighting. ALAE offers many advantages: no noise pollution, no danger to flying animals, eco-responsible manufacturing, and ease of installation. Finally, ALAE gives everyone (local authorities and businesses) the opportunity to create their own visual identity, by customising the sails with a logo and/or a choice of colours.
