tiko - The tiko technology brings you the hardware and multi-use platform to save energy and increasingly integrate renewables into the energy supply

Nowadays, the integration of decentral renewable production (mostly PV) and e-mobility into the electricity grid poses a huge challenge. tiko has created a solution that is capable to connect residential and SME (small-medium enterprise) electrical devices like heat-pumps, batteries, solar panels, electric car charging stations, and direct heating systems.

With the tiko home energy management system (HEMS), the owner can optimize their electricity use, save energy, and lower their bills. Owners can also share their energy in communities and microgrids to locally consume, optimize, and share their energy. On top of that, devices can be aggregated together into a virtual power plant (VPP) where the owners can earn money by offering the flexibility of their devices on energy markets.
