Intelligent Grid Platform - A modular saas platform for digitalizing and automating grid planning and operations processes
The Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) is a digital assistance system that supports grid operators in their technical grid planning and operation processes. By connecting multiple, formerly isolated data sources and using data cleaning algorithms based on machine learning, the IGP creates a digital twin of the entire grid.
IGP comprises three major steps: 1)Establish transparency: The IGP links formerly isolated data sources and uses machine learning algorithms to correct data errors automatically and create validated digital grid models. 2) Automate Processes: With the IGP, grid planning and operation workflows of distribution grid operators (e.g. evaluating connection requests, determine cost-efficient grid expansion measures) are largely automated and significantly accelerated. 3)Optimising smart grids: Technologies like batteries or demand side management enable a more flexible system operation.
