This Solution electrifies a well-known chemical process used in the production of high-value molecules: hydrogen and syngas, the building block to any synthetic fuel or chemical. Combined with renewable energy, the Solution’s unique architecture provides essential industries (e.g. chemical industries, metallurgy) with these molecules not only at a reduced carbon footprint, but also at a low cost. The system efficiently converts electrical energy into chemical energy by virtue of parallelization and integration. It is a reactor that breaks down into thousands of tightly integrated micro-reactors, packing multiple chemical sub-processes (e.g., heat exchange, water vaporization). This parallel approach allows both small- and large-scale applications, with increases in production easily achieved by adding more elementary micro-reactor units. By using an innovative approach, this Solution offers a low cost, low carbon Solution for the chemical industry.
