AkuoCoop is a crowdfunding platform allowing European citizens and businesses to invest and benefit from the financial returns on renewable energy projects. The platform enables them to give meaning and purpose to their savings while promoting a fair, inclusive and profitable energy transition. AkuoCoop only offers investments to help finance low-risk green energy production projects. In order to ensure their sustainability, technical and financial evaluations are carried out by independent third-parties thus securing the projects' viability. By bringing together citizens, companies and communities in the same green financing operation, AkuoCoop creates an outstanding sustainable impact in the regions where projects are implemented, empowering citizens to become drivers of major environmental and energy changes at the local level.
