Identification

A green material made from up to 95% agricultural by-product that satisfies the growing global demand for lumber, while reducing overlogging and air pollution.

Waste harvests like agricultural straws, close to 700 million tons/year, are often burnt away if not used. Open-field burning of agricultural straws and deforestation reinforce the greenhouse effect causing global warming and climate change. XSTRAWDINARY is a simple natural fiber strawboard made from waste agricultural straws. Fibers are bonded together under extreme heat and pressure to make a high density (as high as 1200 kg/m3) material. There is no waste and water pollution during the entire manufacturing process. 1m3 of strawboard helps cutting down 1.63 tons of CO2 emission. The material can be molded into various shapes and sizes and can be customized for different textures and colors, making it ideal for furniture, flooring, wall panels, and virtually everything from ceiling to floor, from wall to wall! One of the applications is to replace exiting wooden and plastics pallets to strawboard pallets.
