The solution is designed as a tool to test water samples for bacteria (E.coli and Total Coliforms) anywhere and get the results in 1 hour. It makes testing accessible for many remote communities, while in urban centers, it can be used as an operational aid to optimize processes and schedule maintenance activities where the drinking water or wastewater systems require maintenance or are disrupted due to unexpected events such as floods. The heart of this solution relies on nanotechnology which is very sensitive and selective to the metabolism of bacteria. Electrochemical testing processes enable this solution to be compact and easy to operate. The solution uses advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models to make decisions on the presence/absence of bacteria as well as their quantity.
