Identification

There has been for some years now a need and a demand for an appropriate and standard residential plug and socket for full-size direct-current (DC) household appliances, especially in developing countries. Full-size DC appliances and tools (many rechargeable and cordless) are now readily available on the market however they are typically delivered with either battery crocodile connectors, Despite having one of the World's Largest Wireless Energy Networks - that being the Sun with a 99.999% geographical 'network'; coverage, more than 80% of the geographical area of the continent of Africa is not served by the electricity grid. Of the 770 million people worldwide without access to electricity, 75% of the population of sub-Saharan Africa lives without access to electricity. Being a direct-sunlight/direct-current solution, this is the solution for eradicating this unacceptable inequality.

The environmental benefits

•Requires no expensive infrastructure: electric pylons and cables, it also eliminates any risk of electrocution as it connects very low voltage (VLV) Direct-Current resulting in reduced Home and Workplace accidents and importantly reduced
•All components of solution are already CE (CEN/CENELEC) and ANSI approved
•85% reduction of CO2 emissions, 100% of the material used are recyclable 20%, degradation in 30 years.
•No copper transformers or electrolytic capacitors are required. Direct-current appliances and cordless tools which have been available as of pre-2007 decrease enormously household appliance manufacturers dependency on copper and electrolytic components.

•No inverter cost, maintenance. Absolutely no danger of electrocution. Being classified by Customs as a simple solar panel it is often customs free.
•No copper or electrolytic component required: AC power transformer at the power input stage. Decrease household appliance manufacturers dependence on copper hence protects the environment.
