Accelerated Fossilization process transforms non-recyclable, non-inert and non-hazardous waste into aggregates suitable for use in construction, known as Anthropocite®. By implementing this technology on an industrial scale, Néolithe addresses environmental urgency by creating a new waste treatment approach for non-recyclable refuse. Accelerated Fossilization converts these materials into aggregates while trapping the carbon from the processed waste instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. If Néolithe were to treat all the waste generated in France annually, we could reduce France's carbon footprint by 7%.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Rethinking waste management : material recovery & carbon sequestration to reduce the carbon footprint of waste processing.
  • The Fossilizator® has a treatment capacity of 100 000 tons per day (number updated as of 2024 from 10 tons per day, not validated by experts)
  • The Fossilization of all household waste would avoid 5% of the global greenhouse gaz emissions.

The Financial Benefits

  • Sold as a service, the Fossilization cost the same thing for the end user
  • An all-inclusive service: Neolithe manages the installation, maintenance and operation of the industrial waste treatment unit, guaranteeing turnkey support.
  • By further optimizing the recovery of materials through the creation of aggregates that replace natural aggregates from quarries, it creates a circular economy with local partners in the construction industry.
