The Environmental Benefits
- •A specialized engineered blend of cementitious with 75% slag content and 25% General Use Limestone cement
- •Applied on soil solidification for tunnels, underground ducts and in mines, where superior strength is required and a high sulphate concentration prevents the economic application of Ordinary Portland Cement
- •Mixed at a soil treatment rate of 8% to achieve the targeted soil stabilization
- •Offers a CO2 reduction of 80% or more compared to a local average Ordinary Portland Cement, while offering superior technical performance and durability
- • Use 65% of recycled materials, saving natural resources and preventing waste from landfill
- •Carries the LafargeHolcim EcoLabel which provide full transparency about the sustainable performance and create a market pull asking for the best sustainable offer
