Identification

Cortex GCCM offers a less carbon-intensive, higher performing concrete product in an easily installed format.

Cortex GCCM is a prefabricated rolled cement composite that contours to complex surfaces, and hardens when hydrated with water in place. It simplifies these transportation and installation procedures by providing a shelf-stable product, shipped dry in 75 sqm rolls, which may be unrolled over smooth or uneven surfaces, then hydrated in place to form a thin-layer of high-performance concrete. Installation is quick and simple, with basic excavating equipment and hand tools, and no rebar or formwork. By using much less cement material per surface area, Cortex GCCM offers significant CO2 savings, and also uses less water.
