Ryp Labs is a food and crop protection company developing and commercializing biomimicry solutions to combat global food waste sustainably and safely. Our food-safe sticker, StixFresh, can extend the shelf life of fresh produce by up to two weeks by simply peeling and applying the sticker to the produce. Our stickers and sachets (Shelf Defense), can be placed in various packing formats to protect smaller fruits such as berries and grapes, and larger fruits such as mangoes and papayas, from premature rotting. These simple yet effective solutions can be used at any stage along the produce supply chain, including post-harvest handling, storage, processing, packaging, distribution, retail and end-consumer use. All of our materials, including stickers, are food safe and can be compostable and biodegradable. Our novel products are starting to gain mass-market adoption in both developed and developing markets.
