Identification

Anchoring floating objects and maintaining their position and location normally requires a deadload (e.g. concrete blocks) or an anchor. This can have major consequences on flora and fauna occupying the seabed, and can damage fragile and biodiverse environments. Seafloatech Pod® is a reliable, recyclable and more sustainable anchoring Solution for positioning, stabilising, and securing floating installations designed to receive boats without requiring them to drop anchor. The Solution makes a connection between seabed and the surface for any floating object and is able to stand the external forces on the floating object to stabilise it. The anchoring system uses a 'screw anchor' design, preventing damage to the flora or fauna on the seabed. Installation is easy and needs only light equipment, and is fully removable. This innovative Solution is step forward in coastal management in all the aspects of sustainable development: Social, environmental and economical.
