So far, quarry waste rock, as well as construction and demolition waste are mostly considered as Waste. However, spoils have a major asset: the sand. This natural resource, contained in concrete, is becoming increasingly depleted and scarce. But we still need it for new construction! Generated waste can become a valuable asset! There are indeed solutions for recycling. Our customers can make the most of their recycling and create a new source of income. Save Sand is a new generation of complete treatment plants, for the highest valorisation of recycled materials (quarry waste rock, as well as construction and demolition waste). It also represents a single, global offer covering the entire valorisation process of the products to be recycled! Our installations, therefore, make it possible to produce aggregates from demolition materials!

The Environmental Benefits

• •The various aggregate fractions are fully reusable and can be used in all types of applications, including the production of high value-added concrete sand - Our plant recycles about 100T/h of sand every day
• •Clarify the wastewater from the washing of materials, to be able to supply all the equipment involved in the process (washing trommel, screens, washers, dewaterers) with quality, recycled water = 85% water saved
• •Keeping water losses in the sludge to a minimum and therefore reduce the need for an external top-up - Additionnal filter presses increase the rate of water savings to 95%
• •Reduced use of non-renewable resources : The proportion of recycled aggregates is estimated only 10% of total national production - Our solution, installed as widely as possible, could increase this figure to 30-40%
• •Reduced carbon impact on the environment. All MS installations are remanufactured and rebuilt using recycled materials from ephemeral installations

• •Reduction of sludge transport costs : Dewatering the residual sludge enables it to be transported. It is then transported and sold, to be used in most cases as backfill
• •Reuse of washwater : Based on the principle of a wastewater treatment plant, the water treatment unit designed by MS integrates the functions needed to treat and then recycle water, saving up to savings of up to 98%!
