Reprocover 5.0 is an innovative short-loop recycling solution that gives a second life to composite materials reinforced with glass fiber—waste that is typically landfilled or incinerated. By collecting, sorting, and transforming these materials locally, we manufacture stronger, lighter, and fire-resistant infrastructure components such as cable gutters, covers, and access chambers. Our solution replaces concrete or virgin materials, while reducing CO₂ emissions and dependence on natural resources. Scalable and flexible, Reprocover 5.0 enables composite-intensive industries to transition toward a circular and low-carbon economy.

The Environmental Benefits

• •RTC finished products meet strict performance standards, including EN 13501 fire resistance, and are approved by major operators such as ProRail, Infrabel, and Voestalpine for use in rail, and infrastructure projects
• •Major SMC and BMC producers have validated that our RCA can replace part of the virgin fire retardant, achieving up to 40% recycled content in final parts while still meeting stringent fire resistance standards
• •Reprocover 4.0’s semi-automated line processes 0.6 t/h of mixed thermoset waste into high-quality RTC, replacing weaker virgin products. Our recycled material increases product lifetime while reducing the need for new raw materials
• •Replacing current products with RTC parts could produce 3,838 t/year from recycled composites, cutting CO₂ emissions from production, improving strength and lifespan, and—being 50% lighter—doubling truck load capacity to reduce transport emissions
• •Substituting virgin ATH with 1,724 t/year of recycled RCA cuts fire-retardant production emissions by nearly 95% for the replaced quantity, saving ~2,586 tCO₂e/year at projected volumes
• •Using 1 kg of thermoset waste in production avoids sending that same 1 kg to landfill. Our RTC parts are up to 50% lighter than conventional ones, so replacing a 2 kg product with a 1 kg product also halves the material needed for the same function
