A laser precision weeding device replacing herbicides for vegetable crops in beds
The Rayser is a patented precision laser weeding device. It uses a combination of AI-controlled lasers and mirrors to neutralize weeds. The device, which can replace chemical weed control products, is compact, perfectly safe, energy-efficient and soil-friendly. It is designed to be grafted onto a mobility vehicle, which also makes it possible to offer it at low cost by relying on the farmer's own equipment. The Rayser consists of three technological blocks. The first includes two lasers: an invisible infrared CO2 laser, which neutralizes weeds without burning crops by evaporating their water, and a visible red laser for aiming. The second block comprises a system of motorized mirrors, enabling the Rayser to track weeds by adapting to the tractor's movements. Finally, on-board artificial intelligence performs real-time analysis to distinguish weeds from other weeds.
