Although disposable diapers are more convenient, they strongly affect the environment and have a high cumulative cost, reaching up to $1,500 per baby. Each baby uses up to 6,500 diapers and it can take 250-500 years for each one to decompose. The solution aims at providing a more sustainable, cheaper, and easier way to use reusable diapers. Pika cleans reusable diapers in one step, allowing the user to throw the soiled diapers in the machine without prior cleaning, and have clean diapers, ready for use within two hours.
