Ex Creatio is a Deeptech early-stage start-up developing the Passive Morphing technology, a deformable profile technology for greater efficiency in decarbonizing transport and producing renewable energy. Morphing is a continuous change of shape. For an aerodynamic or hydrodynamic profile, it is the capacity for a continuous change in camber. In the case of my patented technology, the Passive Morphing, it is a continuous change of camber induced by the conditions of use. This Morphing is the result of the constraints applied on the profile by aerodynamic or hydrodynamic loads. There is no internal actuation or shape control actuation. The shape of the Passive Morphing profile is the result of the loads and is piloted by the angle of attack. Morphing has been a kind of holy grail in aeronautics for many years but it has always been seen as an active process, as a way of shape control using actuators. This is why the Passive Morphing is disruptive.
