01.

Identification

The eV + module solution is a new flexible photovoltaic solar panel that can take a curved shape, like the windows of ski lift stations. The eV + module solution enables electricity to be produced from the sun and directly consumed by the ski resort. This green energy production will allow ski resorts to reduce their electricity bills over the year.

Label Date December 18, 2020
From France
Maturity stage Medium and large scale commercialization
Looking For Network, Visibility, Partners
02.

The environmental benefits

  • The eV + solar modules are 50% times lighter than a traditional solar panel
  • The eV + solar panels can take curved shapes, contain 0% glass and aluminum and are 100% costumizable
  • The eV + module solution is 100% integrated into the building
  • 100% of the load-bearing structures are preserved, no additional equipment to compensate for the overload induced by standard PV solar panels
  • A solar production increase between 8 and 12% observed on the installations in station thanks to the albedo of the snow on the eV + modules which even use monocrystaline cells at 20% of efficiency
03.

The Financial benefits

  • The solar production of eV + modules, make it possible to produce 4 to 5% of the consumption of the ski lift per year
  • since 2019, manufacturers have been integrating eV + solutions directly into the manufacture of their devices
  • ROI: 12 to 15 years
