A surface slab material, not one hidden within a fabric but one exposed to climate and environment, one that has aesthetic advantages, lighting qualities, durability and real performance in use. It reduces reliance on Earths resources. Targeted disruption to traditional building material specification is being forced by government policy. New and Refurbishment Build Legislation has set zero carbon and circular economy targets. Closed Loop materials from waste sources (ie recyclable without additives or binders) are being sought but not found easily.

  • The energy used to sinter and produce glaskeramik (from glass industry wastestream) amounts to a third of that for the glass industry waste producer to reprocess its material into clear glass again
  • 100% wastestream source upcycled and 100% recyclable after life back into itself or glass
