LUMI addresses the need for an efficient multimodal logistics and delivery system in urban areas. Urban transport operators, platforms (MyTroopers, Trusk, Stuart,...) and specific services (bicycles, walking) optimize each for themselves, without being able or willing to make any synergies on behalf of the customer. For example, the right solution for a tour (price, carbon impact, delays) can be the combination of a vehicle and a group of delivery people on foot. No carrier is in a position to offer this to the customer on an objective basis. As a transport organizer, LUMI plays the part of an international logistician which select the right combination between sea, air or road freight. This approach is imperative to gain efficiency, absorb the extra cost of green transport solutions and create a smart ecosystem. With its innovative transport ecosystem, LUMI makes it possible for users to choose and benefit from these synergies.
