The Livin' platform makes transportation more fluid, safer, planet-friendly and economically sustainable.
Livin' is a hypervisor that gives cities the means make and measure impacts on complex urban issues – traffic congestion, air pollution, overall energy efficiency and urban safety – through smarter infrastructure management. It provides a structured process for substantially improving traffic congestion in crowded cities. Connected to traffic lights, cameras, parking meters, third-party data about traffic flow, etc. the platform can help dynamically change traffic patterns by coordinating signaling systems, message panels and cameras, making sure that the majority of people travel faster across the city. Operated city-wide, the platform measures traffic abundance, pedestrian density, origin-destination habits, weather conditions and exceptional distressing events. These are analysed though powerful algorithms to obtain the best sequences for the connected equipment. The Livin' platform both manages everyday congestion and provides insights to the urban mobility planning process. It thus lower CO2 emissions, facilitates commuting journeys for the citizens and is cost-efficient for municipalities.
