A solution to clean, store and use rainwater in urban areas for the benefit of nature and biodiversity
Source Urbaine's goal is to provide a simple and autonomous solution that will re-introduce Nature and its benefits in our cities. By collecting and storing rainwater from roofs and roadsides, we can ensure a system that doesn't neeed watering, even during extended heat waves. All the vegetation and plants that are on our installations are regularly watered thanks to the source below it which ensures their proper development. This aspect is very important, especially during hot weather, as we noticed that the plant have the natural capacity to evapotranspirate ("sweat the water they drink") a lot more when they have access to a large quantity of water. The direct impact on the surrounding environment is to cool it down thus reducing the effect of Urban Heat Islands. Our systems are flexible and can be adapted to any configuration as public real estate can be very difficult to cope with, especially in crowded cities. The dimensioning of our solutions can fit any of your needs.
