Gazélec
Péronne
Gazaléc, the local authority responsible for gas and electricity distribution in Péronne, supplies electricity to the city and its 7600 inhabitants. They implemented the Utilit-e Solution to improve the quality of service of their electricity network. With this Solution, meter data are analyzed through AI algorithms to create a digital model of this network informing the planning department to easily identify sensitive points, in terms of voltage excursions or overloads.
The objective is to reduce investments in low-voltage grid reinforcement by 30% while simultaneously doubling the penetration capacity of photovoltaic systems, enabling more efficient and widespread solar energy adoption.
Utilit-e takes advantage of smart meters deployment to automatically build a grid modelling tool allowing to maximize the electric network hosting capacity for renewable energy production and electric vehicles charging infrastructure while minimizing useless investments. Therefore Artificial Intelligence based algorithms of Utilit-e allows accelerating the energy transition by reallocating investments on strategic tasks.
