In the arid village of Chandan, Jaisalmer, where the sandy soil and water scarcity made farming difficult, Devi Singh, a cumin farmer, found hope with EF Polymer, a revolutionary super absorbent polymer. Struggling with poor yields, he tried EF Polymer, which promised better water retention and soil fertility. Within weeks, his fields transformed—the soil held moisture, and his cumin plants grew healthier, yielding larger, more aromatic seeds. His harvest exceeded expectations, boosting his income and confidence. Devi Singh shared his success with fellow farmers, inspiring a wave of change in Jaisalmer. Once barren lands are now thriving, symbolizing agricultural revival.
Since the solution was used in an acre of farmer's land, the CO2 emission saved was 760 Kgs and approximately 0.72 million litres of water has been saved. From an economic point of view, Devi Singh was able to increase his revenue by 127 € and his income increase was 102 €. The payback time for the farmer was around 5-6 months because cumin harvesting happened in 4 months and within the next month he was able to sell the cumin. The ROI was 4-5 times.

Agriculture faces challenges like water scarcity, soil degradation, and excessive fertilizer use, affecting both farmers and the environment. To tackle these, we developed Fasal Amrit, the first certified organic, 100% biodegradable super absorbent polymer made from fruit and vegetable waste. Fasal Amrit absorbs up to 50 times its weight in water, retaining moisture for 5-15 days, reducing irrigation by 40%, and minimizing drought effects. It prevents fertilizer leaching, cutting usage by 20% while enhancing soil health. Fully biodegradable in six months, Fasal Amrit is an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic products. Ongoing trials in sugarcane, maize, vegetables and high-value crops like horticulture crops further validate its impact. By improving water efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing yields, EFP fosters sustainable and climate-resilient farming.
