Description

Between October and December 2021, the Régie Immobilière de la Ville de Paris (RIVP), a public housing company, implemented Tiko’s Room Temperature Programming solution to enhance comfort and energy efficiency for their tenants in Paris. This installation aimed to optimize energy use, providing a more sustainable and cost-effective solution for managing room temperatures across their housing units, benefiting both residents and the environment.

Impact & Result

The tenants have made energy savings up to 35% by using tiko at its full potential (having a minimum of 3 programs per room). according to the french electric mix, this saving represents a CO2 reduction of 1,5 tons.

Solution Spotlight

With the tiko home energy management system (HEMS), the owner can optimize their electricity use, save energy, and lower their bills. Owners can also share their energy in communities and microgrids to locally consume, optimize, and share their energy. On top of that, devices can be aggregated together into a virtual power plant (VPP) where the owners can earn money by offering the flexibility of their devices on energy markets.
