The covers system is integrated into a heating network of more than 50 housing units. The heat pump system functions as a low-temperature grid backup substation while integrating the domestic hot water and heating reserve. The system has the advantages of compactness and the absence of an external unit in the home. The project includes network extensions for a total of nearly 250 homes.
The heat pump technology COVERS reduce the GES of 70 % or 2,9T The annual energy recovery is up to 10.000 – 15.000 KWh/y. The performance is high. In comparison with existings dual flow ventilation with heat recovery (80%) COVERS is 4 times more efficient. The Pay back time is 3,38 Years
Covers Energy Pack is a compact ventilation concept with heat pump recovery that reduces the energy costs of homes by fifty percent. The concept is designed to ventilate energy-efficient homes and recovers heat from the air that should be discharged outside to produce domestic hot water and space heating. Smart technology automatically learns and adapts to the needs of each home throughout the year. The concept is also designed for multi-storey construction as it is free of outdoor units. Coupled with solar panels Covers Energy Pack is a solution to achieve zero energy and zero-emission buildings.
