SEA CONNECT

SEA CONNECT is a marine exploration service based in the Var region of France. The organization offers excursions that allow passengers to discover coves, creeks, islands, and marine mammals. SEA CONNECT set out to find a passenger transport vessel that would be entirely respectful of the marine environment—causing no impact on the seabed, and producing no noise, vibrations, or odours. To achieve this, Sea Connect has chosen our M.9 Pro, to transport its customers without any carbonation.
The savings in CO2 and fine particles are considerable, given that Sea Connect sails every day, 8 months a year. This represents around 2,400 hours of totally carbon-neutral sailing.
Millikan Boats has imagined, designed and built an electro-solar passenger catamaran that is totally self-sufficient in energy. Designed for use by passenger transport professionals, this 9.5 m-long boat ticks all the sailing boxes: - Zero CO2 emissions - Comfort : No noise, no vibration, no smell - Safety - Pleasure at sea - Respect for the marine environment - Zero cost of ownership The Millikan Boats teams worked for two years to find the right combination of solar generation, storage and power consumption.
