RetroKit is a software solution addressing the needs of housing providers such as municipalities and housing cooperatives. It will help them make better investment decisions with artificial intelligence techniques and deliver their energy renovation projects more efficiently and cost-effectively. The vision is for RetroKit to become a European-wide digital one-stop-shop platform for energy retrofit, addressing the needs of all stakeholders along the value chain. RetroKit can reduce the time and cost required for retrofit project development by between 70% and 85%. It will reinforce the business case for energy retrofit by integrating co-benefits KPIs such as energy, CO2 taxation and maintenance savings (95% of investment) and indirect benefits (health, property valuation, GDP, etc.), shown to have a 140-170% ROI.
