Our customer easily installed the application on his smartphone and quickly started using it for himself and his two drivers. Laurent Bernard, Managing Director of 2B Trans, a specialist in wood transport, highlights the advantages of the new B2P Optim solution. Based in Damblain (88) and operating across eastern France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Bernard oversees a fleet of three vehicles.
Our customer announce a rate of 70% of full charge on a return tour. Unfortunately our customer doesn't have this rate before using the solution. Thats why it is difficult to give reliable figures. A lot of customers are VSE (in this case 1 manager, 1 associate and 1 employee) event though the solution can be use by big companies as weel as medium or small companies.
I've been driving since I was 20, and soon I'll be 46! I use the B2P Optim feature daily to find freight for return trips, optimizing both loads and mileage. More than 70% of my return journeys are completed with a full load. The B2P Optim solution allows me to refine my searches by specifying various parameters. From an operational perspective, I input my loading and unloading points into the software and set a search radius of about 40 kilometers. B2P Optim then lists available shipments, providing a profitability percentage for each based on volume, length, truck fill rate, and detour distance.

The solution, based on the market freight exchange B2PWeb, provides to users a comfort of work and an optimization of their means by shrinking the rate of emptiness and the parasitic kilometres by choosing the best load. The relevant way in front of the right freight offer for a better profitability and a reduction of greenhouse gases. Thanks to a complex algorithm within the application the operator or the driver himself can make an efficient search quickly and easily that takes into consideration toll cost, detour distance, weight and size available in the truck. As a carrier or freight forwarder, for a low investment, and with the right business model, the return on investment is almost automatic. There is a reduction of parasitic kilometers and an optimization of empty space in the vehicles.
