Corteva Agriscience and Gaïago have announced a multi-year agreement to validate, develop and commercialize biofungicides for farmers worldwide. Through this agreement, Corteva Agriscience receives an exclusive, global testing license and associated optional commercial rights for a novel biofungicide technology developed by Gaïago. With its solution Nutrigeo, Gaïago intends to become a key player in the vast future market leading the agro-ecological transition, one of the main short-term challenges for agriculture.
This global collaboration with Corteva, together with the launch of our joint research programs with scientific institutions in Europe, will boost Gaïago's large-scale Agrosystems regeneration plans, hence restoring soil and plant functions.
Our solution is a crop input aiming at revitalizing agricultural soils with benefits for the farmers, for the consumers and for the planet. NUTRIGEO® activates the power of fungi to improve soil structure and fertility in less than 6 months. Leveraging on soil microbiology, this technology enables huge agronomic benefits including better water use efficiency, better soil resources use efficiency and humus increase. This product accelerates the soil carbon sequestration to remove massive quantities of CO2 from the atmosphere.
