In early 2024, Weego partnered with Vectalia, a major public transport operator in Morocco, to deploy its mobility platform in the cities of Safi and Nador. The integration included real-time route planning, stop-level mapping, and support for public transport schedules. This allowed over 5,000 early users to navigate local buses more efficiently using the Weego app. The pilot project demonstrated a significant improvement in user experience and awareness of public transport options in cities that previously lacked unified mobility tools. The Weego–Vectalia deployment in Safi and Nador enabled a modal shift from private transport to buses, helping save an estimated 250–300 tons of CO₂eq annually. With low deployment costs, the solution achieved ROI in under 6 months.
